Permanent position: Innovative Manufacturing/Design company is needing an Electrical Engineer for their location near Wichita, Kansas. This is a Direct Hire role.

Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer

  • Lead development and sourcing of PC boards for machine controls, soft process logic control, and edit HMI software
  • Design, validate and manage the production of complex electrical schematics for the company's cutting machines controls, motors, drive amps, and support systems
  • Work with suppliers of electrical components to source and manage the integration electrical components and high voltage, high frequency, plasma cutting systems, and ensuring supplier integration guidelines are followed
  • Assist field service technicians with trouble shooting and problem solving related to electrical circuitry, controls, PLC, HMI, motors, drive amps, and support systems

Requirements for the Electrical Engineer

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Must have at least five years of electrical systems design and implementation
  • Must have knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, processes and procedures and experience managing projects with record of successful completion
  • Must have experience with CAD software tools and multi-tier job costing software tools
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to travel on limited basis domestically
