A multinational automotive corporation is currently seeking a Material Planning Support Specialist in the Portland, OR area. This is a CONTRACT position projected to last 1 year. No per diem available.Responsibilities for the Materials Coordinator
Requirements for the Materials Coordinator
- Manage inventory balancing and purchase order exceptions from Forecast and planning system. Administer the transfer of critical data from DTNA Supply Base into order management tools. Processing and sourcing critical "truck down" orders for soonest fulfillment.
- Customer Service - address inquiries from dealer partners on order status and aged backorders. Execute Sales order changes and cancellations as requested by dealer or customers. Other material planning functions may include; address supplier performance, process part superceedures, obtain and load part parameters (cost, weights dimensions, Etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline (Supply Chain, Logistics). Proficient in Microsoft office applications, SAP experience preferred. Supply Chain and Material Planning knowledge required.
