Permanent position: Houston Exploration and Production company is looking for a Well Work Foreman. Qualified candidates must have at least 5 years experience with rig based well intervention operations.

Responsibilities for the Foreman
  • Responsible for the management of onshore US completions/well intervention, and well maintenance operations including SHE, operational, contractor management and best practice sharing considerations
  • Conduct planning, logistics, supervision, and documentation of the execution of well work activities including workover, drillout, clean out, etc
  • Work closely with the engineers and Operations Team Leads to make well work decisions/recommendations including selection and optimization of services; materials; fluid systems; operational techniques, operational efficiencies, cost tracking, and management of project risks providing input on well programs
  • Coach and mentor less experienced team members to deliver best-in-class performance in SHE, cost, and time
Requirements for the Foreman

  • Must have minimum of 5 years experience as a workover foreman
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have experience working onshore US completions/well intervention, and well maintenance operations
  • Must have strong understanding of artificial lift methods such as gas lift, rod pump and jet pump
