Contract position: An Engineer Technician is needed for a leader in electronics, healthcare, and lighting in the Rancho Cordova, CA area. This position will support the Supplier Quality Engineer in the resolution of all operational-technical issues and timely implementation of all projects, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Requirements for the Technician
- Maintain up to date and in compliance the supplier Quality records and information systems. Support supplier Categorization process and activities for Addition/Modification of the ASL.
- Follow up Supplier Audit Activities as directed by the SQE. Follow up SCARs responses in accordance to established metrics. Prepare and keep track of necessary supplier quality metrics and information.
- Perform various task related to the maintenance of the Supplier Quality Managements system. Examples: Gap assessments, remediation plans, procedure updates, etc.
- At least 1 year of experience in the medical device industry doing Quality Assurance work.
