Project Manager

Infrastructure planning & design firm is seeking a Highway Project Manager to join its team. This person will interface with the Transportation practice to support/participate in pursuits, projects, and programs. This person must have working knowledge of Microstation and Geopak.

Responsibilities for the Project Manager

  • Oversee and manage design development-related activities (design criteria development, conceptual design, preliminary investigations, studies/reports preparation, design, construction cost estimates, and design/constructability reviews)
  • Support in programming/planning activities, client communications, and overall program coordination
  • Engage in marketing and business development activities to better position the company on specific project opportunities; proposal development including development of scope of work, budget, and schedule
Requirements for the Project Manager

  • 8-15 years of industry-related experience, including a minimum of 5 years of proven performance as a Project Manager on previous related projects
  • BS in engineering, science or related field
  • Texas PE and PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP) credential are viewed favorably
  • Strong technical knowledge / experience in execution and management of transportation projects from preliminary design through construction
