Sales Manager

Permanent position: Well established company that has been in existence for over 100 years is looking to hire a Healthcare Territory Sales Manager. This position will be located in Farmington Hills, Michigan area. The ideal candidate will possess experience calling on healthcare-related organizations as well as large acute care hospitals. Track record of maintaining existing accounts as well as developing new business is highly desired. This is an established territory that consists of Detroit, Ann Arbor and Toledo area. Minimal overnite travel will be required. This role comes with an excellent compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $60 to $70k plus a bonus opportunity, car allowance, expenses, cell phone reimbursement and mileage will be provided. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities for the Sales Manager
  • Build, develop and manage accounts in an assigned territory
  • Carry out need sales and service initiatives. Meet quarterly/annual sales goals
  • Identify and quality prospects by telephone, cold call premise visits and networking
  • Develop proposals and conduct sales presentations for prospective customers
  • Administer service orders and customer quotes in a legible, accurate and timely manner
  • Review market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential and price schedules
  • Must have well developed analytical skills to uncover and evaluate complex customer issues
  • Develop sales campaigns to promote goals of the company
Requirements for the Sales Manager

  • Bachelor's degree is desired but not required
  • Outside sales experience in the medical and/or healthcare field
  • Extensive understanding of medical terminology
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
  • strong negotiation skills along with excellent customer relations and customer service skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft and spreadsheets
  • All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US
  • Ability to travel within the Detroit, Ann Arbor and Toledo area.
