Contract position: A Manufacturing Engineer is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Moline, IL area. This position will coordinate and perform manufacturing engineering activities factory layouts, tool design, & communication of equipment moves. No per diem available. No travel required. Requirements for the Manufacturing Engineer
- Experience with safety-related manufacturing processes, including ergonomics training and assessments, and machine installation processes. Experience implementing engineering changes.
- Experience working in a production environment. Knowledge of Concept Tooling and Tooling Design. Knowledge of drawing and schematic interpretation.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering. At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or similar field.
- Experience with assembling products, and with AutoCAD, and Creo software.
