CNC Programmer

Permanent position: CNC Programmer near Buford, GA at a leading global manufacturer of food processing and automation equipment. This position is responsible to develop, support, program and create G-code programs for CNC machines used in manufacturing process. Candidates must have experience with model-based CNC programming using G-code commands within a manufacturing environment. This is a direct hire opportunity with a fast paced and growing company. Responsibilities for the CNC Programmer
  • Create G-code programs for CNC machines
  • Generate required shop floor documentation - setup sheets, tool lists, process instructions
  • Develop fixtures and identify tooling requirements
  • Create and maintain accurate routes for efficient part production
  • Provide support to shop floor production
Requirements for the CNC Programmer

  • Must have experience with model-based CNC programming in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of machining processes and G-code commands
  • Proficient with machining related calculations (geometry, trigonometry, feeds, speeds)
  • Knowledge of quality instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
  • Associates degree in technical field is preferred
