Electrical Engineer

Contract position: An Electrical Engineer is needed for a leader in power and automation technologies in the Houston, TX area. This role will perform various engineering duties requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices. No per diem available. No travel required. These rates are estimates, please submit the rate you would prefer.

Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer
  • Perform various engineering tasks involving analysis, design, development, test, installation and service, while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information.
  • Prepare specifications and related documents in accordance with requirements, established formats and general instructions.
  • Consult with other engineering groups to ensure that specified engineering criteria are suitable for the proposed application, and recommend revisions, as appropriate.
Requirements for the Electrical Engineer

  • Experience with planning, designing, development, testing, installation and co-ordination of related activities involving electrical/electronic components and systems.
