Contract position: A Vehicle Reliability Engineer is needed for an American multinational corporation specializing in Internet-related services and products in the Mountain View, CA area. This position will support and execute vehicle testing both in-house and externally, with a focus on defining road load data acquisition needs and post-processing results. Requirements for the Reliability Engineer
- Install and setup test equipment, instrumentation, sensors and validate the data. Responsible for processing and analyzing field and proving ground road load data acquisition (RLDA) data.
- Support test activities including vehicle preparation and tear-down. Track, document, coordinate, and communicate RLDA activities and analysis results.
- Purchase, maintain and repair sensor library and coordinate calibration activities. Responsible for instrumented test vehicles.
- At least 2 years of instrumentation and data acquisition experience. Experience instrumenting various sensors.
