Contract position: A Test Design Engineer is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Fargo, ND area. This position will design new and enhance existing In-Circuit Test (ICT) systems for robust electronics intended for on/off road vehicles operating in harsh environments. No per diem available. Requirements for the Test Engineer
- Perform requirements capture, analysis, design, programming, debugging, hardware integration and verification. Perform tasks with one-on-one supervision to meet quality, delivery and cost goals.
- System architectural development, basic HW/SW design and analysis, coding, schematic development, and basic troubleshooting of ICT, MDA and Flying Probe systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Technical knowledge to use and understand schematics, and HW analysis software (Pspice, MathCAD).
- Experience with development and debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters, etc.).
