Responsibilities for the Sales Manager
  • Work independently to secure the sale of our filtration products and services into the mining and chemical industries.
  • Development and maintenance of customer relationships
  • Sell industrial equipment and automation products to mining and chemical customers by direct customer interaction, proposal preparation/revision and guidance to proposal engineers and technical resources.
  • Discover, develop and close sales opportunities in assigned regions
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback on customer issues, outstanding proposals; competitive action; complaints and unresolved disputes
Requirements for the Sales Manager

  • Bachelor's degree in process or chemical engineering or similar, mining but other engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical, chemical) acceptable
  • Previous technical sales of capital equipment with commercial contract-negotiation experience ($200k to multi million)
  • Industry related experience (minerals and /or chemical industry preferred)
  • Automation related experience preferred
  • Must be willing to travel 50% of the time (home based the rest of the time)
