Manufacturing Engineer

Permanent position: One of the fastest growing Tier 1 Automotive Suppliers in the US is seeking a Equipment Engineer to add to their team in Northern Alabama. The The Equipment Engineer will design equipment that will be used to support production and will also provide support to engineering and production. The Equipment Engineer will assist in process design as well to ensure the equipment is used in the most efficient manner. Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for the molding processes in the plant
  • Addresses internal and external customer complaints, conducts investigations, develops root cause analysis, determines countermeasures and creates documentation, all in accordance with NAL's proven problem solving methods
  • Supports mold trials prior to molds arriving at NAL, including interfacing with the Tool Engineering team, inside tool shop, outside tool shops both domestic and international
  • Conducts initial mold trials within NAL to verify internal processes and mold capabilities
Requirements for the Manufacturing Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or a related discipline
  • DC Wilson, Paulson or similar injection molding certification is preferred
