Sales Engineer

Permanent position: A prominent global manufacturing company is seeking a Business Development Engineer. The candidates should be experienced with new business development from start to finish. The candidate should also have a strong technical aptitude, and a consultative sales approach. The company manufacturers high end controls systems in the $100K+ range. The candidate should have a proactive sales approach, and strong business acumen to understand and define customer needs and recommend solutions. Responsibilities for the Sales Engineer
  • Implement a custom sales process that clearly defines the customer's challenge and their concept for a solution
  • Adept at determining the decision-making process and key stakeholders involved in a sale
  • Leverage the company's product and application knowledge to provide high quality solutions to automation challenges
  • Both phone and internet prospecting
Requirements for the Sales Engineer

  • Engineering degree preferred
  • Industrial automation experience preferred
