Interior Designer

Permanent position: Our client is one of the largest and most innovative building firms in the country. They are seeking a Senior Interior Designer/Architect to join their growing team in Dallas, TX. This will be joining their healthcare team and will require some healthcare interior experience.

Responsibilities for the Interior Designer
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Project Designers to assist with the complex aspects of interior architecture
  • Design small projects, present to clients, understand clients culture
  • Manage project communication and documentation, along with project team task assignments
  • Produce blank sheet schematic design concepts and programming
  • Lead and mentor a small team
  • Collaborate and assist team in producing details
  • Prepare and manage project fee budget
Requirements for the Interior Designer

  • Sound knowledge of interior architecture principles and practices
  • Bachelors degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • 10-20 years of experience in interior design
  • Healthcare interior experience
  • Professional registration preferred
  • Comfortable using REVIT and Sketchup
  • Able to mentor junior interior design staff
