Contract position: Administrative Assistant position with a manufacturing client located in the Pittsfield, MA area. Supporting the Inside Sales / Customer service team this position will be responsible to help provide a broad range of professional office support.

Responsibilities for the Clerk
  • Provide administrative office support working with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Work with all levels of the organization as well as with external agencies representatives
  • Research and compile a variety of information for reporting purposes and performs data entry into a variety of databases, spreadsheets, and forms
  • Use pivot tables, etc to manipulate data in Excel
  • As needed create PowerPoint presentations
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements for the Clerk

  • Associate Degree or a minimum of 5 years recent experience in an Administrative Assistant, Clerical Role or similar role
  • Strong PC aptitude including demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • SAP experience preferred (will consider other ERP system experience)
  • Ability to extensively use pivot tables, etc to manipulate data in Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work within strict deadlines
  • Proven communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated analytical capability to run and understand basic reports
