Contracts Administrator

Contract position: Tendering Specialist needed for a long term opportunity in Portland OR. This person will provide tendering support to sales offices and assists customers by providing quotations, which consist of product selection, pricing, terms and conditions review, production lead time, and engineering evaluations.

Responsibilities for the Contracts Administrator
  • Evaluates customer pump application requirements to insure Company can produce a pump product that will satisfy customer's needs for competitive price while providing an acceptable margin
  • Reviews customer RFQ's, drawings, and specifications as required
  • Obtains necessary pricing or data to tender from Product Manual or appropriate manufacturing location (estimating, purchasing, engineering, etc.)
  • Obtains quotes from suppliers as required
  • Establishes or obtains lead-time estimates from relevant manufacturing plant
Requirements for the Contracts Administrator

  • Three years of experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of business processes including pricing, lead times, proper invoicing etc
  • Experience with industrial manufacturing and/or parts purchasing
