Contract position: A Firmware QA Engineer is needed for a multinational corporation that is involved in the design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide marketing and sales of athletic apparel, equipment, accessories, and services in the Beaverton, OR area. This position is responsible for the qualification of innovative consumer electronics products that help make athletes better. No per diem available. No travel is anticipated. Requirements for the Firmware Engineer
- Assist in the testing and validation of a robust firmware platform by designing efficient, testable, and scalable code to enable athletic product experiences.
- Engage Product, Program, Engineering, and Design teams to design test strategies, guide unit and integration testing conducted by engineering teams, and compose test plans for automated, manual, and performance tests.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant field. Must have at least 2 years of experience working with embedded systems.
- Experience in developing test plans, assessing risk, writing defects, and providing relevant data for test reporting. Ability to create, document, and automate test plans for embedded systems in C, including unit, subsystem, and system testing.
