Manufacturing Engineer

Permanent position: A global high volume component manufacturer in the Milwaukee area is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a multi-faceted role! The Manufacturing Engineer should have strong machining experience with a focus on lathes and milling, the ability to conduct root causes analysis, make decision and continuously look for ways to improve/prevent issues. Candidate must have machining know how - automotive experience is not necessary but is a plus. Individual needs to be comfortable with high volume and fast paced industry. This is a direct hire opportunity with full company benefits,bonuses, employee profit sharing (paid out monthly), and company paid vacation. Full relocation is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer
  • Work primarily on the production floor on daily programs including machine set ups and adjustments. This is a hands on role working with horizontal lathes including Okuma and DMG Mori lathes
  • Develop new machining programs
  • Support Continuous Improvement programs for scrap reduction and quality improvement
Requirements for the Manufacturing Engineer

  • Engineering degree
  • Experience working in machining and lathes
  • Experience working in a high volume manufacturing facility
