Product Owner

job summary:
As a Product Owner in the Enterprise Cybersecurity XXXX, you blend a deep level of expertise with a passion and energy for delivering results. You are laser focused on providing value to our clients, customers, and internal stakeholders. In an agile format and structure, you will partner with other leaders to influence the broader strategic decisions and roadmaps, define the resource requirements, and bring the squad together to execute on specific deliverables. The role is based in XXX.

You will ensure alignment on the "what" and "when" of the work performed by the squad through ongoing planning and prioritization, to enable the team to work iteratively, experiment where necessary, celebrate successes, and learn from failures. You are passionate about representing the voice of the customer, whether internal or external, and make sure product team members understand their needs and preferences. You will partner with other product teams to make tradeoffs that maximize overall value to our customers.

You will also be committed to maintaining and developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role.

The Team

The Product Management Chapter within Enterprise Cybersecurity team is the center of excellence discipline that looks across all ECS products to set standards and drive toward best in class solutions. In this role you will work in partnership with the Product Line Manager, members of the product team, and discipline leaders supporting your product team members. By role modeling and promoting agile and leadership principles, you will promote and sustain an innovative agile product model culture.

The Expertise You Have

  • Demonstration of working in a product owner role
  • Cybersecurity experience and/or experience in the Financial Services industry a plus
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
  • Solid experience in capturing/writing epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Experience using Jira, Jira Align, Confluence and all Microsoft Office Tools
