Our client in Santa Clara is looking for a EHS Supervisor to start as soon as possible!
Must have a track record in Waste Water and Environmental Waste, this is a very hands on job with 80 percent of your time spent on these type of activities.

Works with General Manager to define effective injury prevention activities and goals for plant supervisors
and managers. Monitors leading and trailing injury indicators and reports to GM monthly.
Interfaces with outside regulatory agencies to secure permits and enforcement compliance.
Monitors, records, reports and maintains all hazardous waste activities.Environmental department controls the discharge of waste, water and other materials to conform to all
federal, state and local regulations.
Establish requirements to the facility personnel in the handling of hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
Negotiates with vendors for pricing of services, writes CER's, and creates and implements programs.
Trains employees on safety issues, and manages all environmental, health & safety programs within the
Facilitates and attends meetings, communicates regularly with managers and supervisors, attends special
training and suggests and composes procedural changes.
Hands-on Manager with experience with daily operations and the management of operations personnel.
Responsibilities include reviewing all accident investigations, near misses and safety concerns. Establishes
safety training requirements and presentations such that co-workers understand and follow the directions
identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and all Safety
Procedures and Alerts.
Takes part in routine NA EHS calls with other EHS Managers throughout company. Some minor travel (5%) to
work with other Divisions during benchmarking and best practice activities and to take part in the Annual NA
? Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
? Minimum of 5 years of EHS-related experience
? Minimum of 5 years of Wastewater Treatment operational experience.
