Looking for someone work within our systems engineering tea m doing Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) and Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) engineering. As a RAM/FRACAS Engineer on this team, you'll ensure performance compliance regarding both customer and internal requirements

responsibilities:
  • Working closely with team members on identifying root cause and corrective actions
  • Supporting the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) Process
  • Leading FRACAS Events Review Boards (FERBs) and Failure Investigations
  • Conducting data analysis and trending
  • Performing RAM trade-off analyses
  • Assessing RAM performance (MTBF, MTBCF, Ao)
  • Defining and allocating RAM requirements
  • Performing Reliability Predictions
  • Performing Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
  • Supporting Reliability Test Planning and Execution (Accelerated, Growth, Demonstration)
  • Providing support to proposals
 
qualifications:
Required Skills:

  • 6+ years' engineering experience
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing and/or presenting data
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Eligibility to obtain Secret Clearance
?Desired Skills:

  • Experience with reliability, availability and/or maintainability engineering
  • Experience assessing RAM performance of fielded equipment
  • Experience leading large teams and working in a cross functional team environment
  • Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and its implementation.
  • Experience using Windchill Quality Solutions suite of tools.
  • Experience with technical document and report generation
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Working knowledge of multiple support engineering disciplines
  • Excellent technical writing, oral communication, and inter-personal skills to achieve technical objectives
Required Education:

  • BS in a STEM discipline or BA in Mathematics, Computer Science or Physics
