Manufacturing Leader

job summary:
Manufacturing Supervisor located in Pleasant View, TN for a leading industrial manufacturer. This role is responsible to provide leadership and direction to an assigned team on daily continuous improvements and team processes. Must have AS degree required with at least two (2) years of manufacturing leadership/supervisory experience. Must have experience leading continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications:

  • AS degree required (Technical degree or B.S degree is preferred)
  • Must have five (5) years of manufacturing experience
  • Must have two (2) years of manufacturing supervisory experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents & drawings and write detailed reports
  • Experience leading continuous improvement & process improvement initiatives
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and knowledge in ERP
Preferred:

  • Experience in Material Flow, Welding, Enamel Stamping or Robotics is preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English)

  • Provide leadership and direction to an assigned manufacturing team
  • Focus on daily continuous improvements and team processes, to deliver team key performance Indicators and drive employee engagement and development.
  • Provide leadership to team to ensure that all Safety, Quality, Cost and Customer Delivery goals are achieved
  • Ensures effective performance evaluations, appropriate counseling measures and accurate and timely timecard inputs
  • Implements continuous improvement processes and cost savings
  • Leads line balancing, time studies, SMED, problem solving and ensures labor map adherence
  • Supports Autonomous maintenance
