Quality Technician

job summary:
Manufacturer in the Oklahoma City, OK area is seeking a Quality Technician to add to their growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing with quality experience highly preferred. Must be able to read engineering prints and have excellent customer interface skills. Hours are 5:00 pm - 3:30 am, M-TH. Salary is commensurate with experience. Degree or technical training preferred.

  • Monitor and facilitate quality inspection activities for all facets of assembly unit completion.
  • Read engineering drawings
  • Serve as main voice of the customer and be liaison with assembly team for quality control issues
  • Use quality tools and practices to verify and ensure Quality requirements for both internal and external manufactured parts and assemblies have been met.
  • Investigate unit quality related issues and concerns related to product and processes.
  • Scan, maintain and organize documents including records, drawings, and specifications
  • In-Process Inspections/ review documents for correctness and completeness
  • Generate reports as needed
  • Identify product status as needed
  • Scanning and Data Entry
  • Must be able to wear protective gear and equipment.
  • Work independently and with good integrity
  • At least 3 years of manufacturing experience (preferably with Quality processes) required
  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing
  • Education: High School (required)
  • Technical training or certificate
  • Previous quality assurance experience
  • Must be able to read engineering drawings
