National manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire Food Technologist. This position is located near Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Food Technologist will be responsible for the formulation and commericialization of products, including technical service support at customer facilities.
The salary is commensurate with experience ranging from $75K - $125K, plus an opportunity for a bonus, relocation assistance, and other great benefits! All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

- Formulate and evaluate new concept product samples based on objective supplied by the R&D management, customers, and in-house development activities
- Provide technical service support in our customer wholesale bakeries supporting new product commercialization and product trouble shooting efforts
- Provide bench top and research studies for new product concepts or processes as they apply to value added products, new packaging, and processes
- Must be able to travel 50% to customer sites nationally to assist with technical support
