job summary:
Exciting Customer Service Mechanical Engineer opportunity! Responsible for mechanical engineering of equipment during the design, assembly, and debug phases of any Customer Service projects. This position is responsible for the upkeep, debug, and upgrade of company mechanical systems while supporting company goals, values, and operating principles. This individual will support Customer Service personnel- Applications, Engineering, Sales, Customer support, and Parts. A qualified candidate should have a BS in Mechanical Engineering degree or 7 years of relevant working experience. This is a remote position, but travel is necessary up to 75%.

responsibilities:
  • Must be able to collaborate and communicate with all suppliers including systems' vendors for all technical aspects as requested by supervisor
  • Must be able to communicate with Customer for technical aspects of a project as requested by supervisor
  • Must be able to understand budgets and schedule controls
  • Pre-order standard material with internal Standard Factories as requested by supervisor
  • Support Project Manager and Project Engineer for the creation of the project internal URS
  • Must be able to improve and harmonize mechanical engineering practices as requested by Manager
  • Participate in Project Design reviews
  • Responsible for successful design of systems to meet the budget and time expectations as defined by supervisor
  • Design pallets and critical stations based on project internal URS defined by supervisor
  • Design of mechanical cams
  • Support Validation team to create and test validation package per customer's specifications
  • Support Software Design Specification with the Control Engineer
  • Release stations in the ERP system and follow up on delivery dates as instructed by supervisor
  • Responsible for the creation and review of content of the assembly start package
  • Support supervisor to troubleshoot engineering modifications during debug phase. Identify problems and propose solutions in collaboration with the project team
  • Support debug activities on the floor as requested by supervisor
  • Responsible for reviewing and approving the design of pneumatic schematics following project specific requirements
  • Responsible for accurately and timely generating the Mechanical Engineering documentation package assigned to each customer project
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be able to travel as requested (up to 75%)
  • Must be available to work overtime
  • May be required to work off shift hours and Holidays
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering degree
  • 7 years of relevant working experience

For Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $15.00 to $25.00/hour.
