job summary:
Contract position: IMMEDIATE NEED for an Electrical QA/QC Inspector with an electrical & instrumentation background for a long term refinery construction project in Wisconsin. You need 10-20+ years of relevant construction site Quality experience on refinery, petrochemical or similar oil & gas construction projects as an Inspector. Mob, demob, per diem & a trip home every 3 weeks will be provided.

responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Construction Manager by helping oversee the QA/QC program and ensure that all subcontractors on the job are meeting project & industry quality specifications
- Interface with client representatives, A/E representatives, & other contractors on a daily basis
- Inspect and verify that the electrical (main focus) & instrumentation construction is performed in contractual accordance with the specifications and drawing requirements
- Review quality assurance documents as they are issued and ensure compliance
- Review the final "Punch-out Inspection" list for each system and document status for completion
- Verify subcontractor procedures and quality records are in contractual compliance
- Other responsibilities include coordinating, administrating, and/or performing inspection activities, document control, and writing reports
- Responsible for ensuring that the project is constructed, tested, inspected, and documented in accordance with the project specifications
- Delegate a portion of these activities to other site personnel but maintain the responsibility for ensuring that they are performed correctly
