Business Development Account Manager

job summary:
Leading global chemical manufacturer is seeking an Account Manager to join their team. This position is based in their Houston, TX office and open to relocation. Salary is open and depending on experience. Candidates MUST have sales experience in automotive/packaging market. Polymer/polyolefins sales experience is a big plus. 75% travel.

responsibilities:
  • Develops trusted-advisor relationships with customers across several functions and seniority levels
  • Achieves sales goals based on business strategy for assigned accounts
  • Produces sales forecasts in collaboration with customers, and is able to take advantage on market changes to capture additional growth
  • Uses templates to develop and share account plans with appropriate stakeholders
  • Promotes employer as a top automotive solutions provider, through impactful presentations and innovation sessions addressing market and customer unmet needs
