A non-profit organization in San Jose is looking for a stellar team player to help support their inventory department. The Inventory Control Specialist will be involved in all aspects of inventory functions and documentation. They will ensure timely and accurate entry of all inventory documentation and transactions. This individual will be responsible for inventory control, receiving, and distribution tasks, including coordination, data entry, and planning.
Perform inventory cycle counting daily under the direction of the Inventory Control Manager and/or Lead/Coordinator.
Reconcile physical inventory and research discrepancies at each cycle count.
Verify product locations and investigate discrepancies
Responsible for data entry of all required inventory activities such as but not limited to reclass, cycle count results, donation orders, agency orders, etc.
Reclassify products and assign product codes under the direction of the Inventory Control Manager and/or Lead/Coordinator.
Coordinate transfers to and from various sites and storage locations.
Monitor inventory levels under the guidance of the Inventory Control Manager to ensure adequate inventory is on hand at the appropriate location.
