Transportation Coordinator

The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for the overall day-to-day logistics management of shipments, warehouse operations, storage operations, logistical processes, and problem-solving exercises. 

Responsibilities:

  • Container and truck tracking, tracing, and receiving 
  • Data entry and logging inventory information into internal system
  • Vendor (Carrier, Supplier, Ect.) communications
  • Securing motor carrier capacity to handle shipments
  • Shipment tracking and tracing for customers/clients
  • Customer/ Client/ Carrier communications via email and phone
  • Build and maintaining customer relationships and assist in customer growth
  • Adhere to Supply Chain Department’s operating procedures and protocol
  • Deliver cost effective solutions that always keeps the long-term interest of the customer as the first priority
  • Experience in handling invoices and BOLs
  • Play critical role in efforts to ensure service focus, morale, team work, and a positive culture 
  • Other duties as necessary


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
  • College degree preferred
  • 2+ year transportation or logistics experience 
  • Possess basic PC skills- Microsoft Excel, Word
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Willing to travel for special projects
  • Work closely with and develop relationships across all departments
  • Must be reliable and have great attendance
