Do you want to work as a Buyer for a well established tech company in Silicon Valley? Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, the Buyer will be responsible for all aspects of supplier relationship management, cost and delivery negotiations, and other activities required to assure on-time delivery of compliant and quality materials to support production, engineering and indirect requirements.
Input and maintain purchase orders into the ERP system and transmit to supplier.
Expedite past due or critical supplier orders to meet customer and company requirements.
Generate and review open purchase order report weekly to assure on-time delivery.
Source material from suppliers and evaluate new suppliers for capabilities, cost, quality and delivery reliability
