The Correspondence Processing department has an opening for a Document Imaging Specialist. The Document Imaging Specialist is responsible for opening and sorting mail and priority packages, arranging for outgoing mail and shipments, organizing, maintaining and reviewing the physical files for the purpose of imaging documents; utilizing industrial and/or office grade imaging equipment to convert physical documents into an electronic format, monitoring the quality of the converted documents to ensure the accuracy and completeness of electronic images, monitoring and reporting daily volume, and additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS • Associates degree or equivalent experience in imaging services or records management • Experience with electronic documents in a financial environment is a plus • A minimum of 45 wpm typing • Knowledge of scanning equipment • Proficiency in a range of computer software applications, including programs and databases such as, MSWord, Excel, and Ascent Capture • Excellent organizational skills • Proficiency in handling a number of projects simultaneously • Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines • Must have attention to detail • strong communication (written and oral) skills • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds • Flexibility to work additional hours as necessary
Associate will perform Correspondence Processing/Imaging functions within Mail Operations. Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as be detailed oriented. Position will require the review and assessment of client instructions and related inquiries. Candidate must be familiar with workflow models and be able to multi task.
