Our client in the Downtown Phoenix area is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join their team. This is a long term temporary opportunity that pays $14.99 per hour.
2 years working in the legal field Paralegal certificate or degree preferred Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Excellent MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, typing and data entry skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Utilizing a variety of computer-based systems, search for required legal documents Review and interpret language in legal documents to assure it meets statutory requirements Accurately update fields in database based on information found in legal documents Enter names into the Child Abuse Central Registry following confirmation of due process Close attention to detail to assure the documents that have been found are for the right people and right incident Create, update and maintain large master spreadsheets using Excel Be able to track multiple tasks and outstanding items for follow up until resolution is reached Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and resolve problems. Other administrative duties as assigned.
