The position is responsible for responding to agents’ written and telephone inquiries regarding insurance licensing and assists with questions regarding prelicensing certificates, insurance license status, contract status and other areas serviced by the Licensing Department. The role identifies concerns, asks appropriate questions, responds to questions in a concise and courteous manner and documents all research findings thoroughly. Performs corrections identified during the call and forwards corrections to the appropriate party for further processing or approval when necessary. The candidate provides complete and accurate information using the department manual and Company systems as sources of information. Recognizes priority situations and understands when and how to notify appropriate parties.
