A non-profit organization in San Jose is looking for a stellar team player to help support their inventory department. The Senior Inventory Control Specialist will be involved in all aspects of inventory functions and documentation. They will ensure timely and accurate entry of all inventory documentation and transactions. This individual will be responsible for inventory control, receiving, and distribution tasks, including coordination, data entry, and planning. This is a Senior Level role at least 3 years experience is required; buying or planning exprience is a great bonus!
Know and work to the KPI’s that are assigned to inventory. Help to develop, deploy and achieve.
Perform physical inventory of all products systematically, and reconcile with computer inventory throughout the month.
Conduct and maintain weekly, end-of-month (EOM), mid-year and end-of-year (EOY) physical inventories. Store the data and email appropriate personnel of accuracy by product type and by case count. Mentor those that need to understand this information.
Research and remedy inaccuracies daily against posted orders and inventory discrepancies.
Perform and complete timely and accurate follow-through on inventory related issues and discrepancies.
Accurately input receiving data for donated products, verifying all paperwork and documentation. Research any discrepancies before input.
Reclassify products and assign product codes. Research transfers to and from various sites and storage locations.
