Human Resources Assistant

position- Human Resources Specialist  location- Warminster, Pa 18974 hours: Monday- Friday 8AM-5PM salary- $45-50k yearly depending on experience Direct Hire role on site position  Responsibilities:
  • Serves as point of contact for general HR inquiries from employees and provide quality customer service during all inquiries/requests.
  • Performs a vast range of employment activities from recruitment all the way through the separation of employment. Will assist with posting jobs review applications for candidate identification. Conduct interviews and recommend candidates for selection for open roles.
  • Works with employees and supervisors on a variety of employee relations issues, including benefits, leaves, policy interpretations, and day-to-day changes and issues.
  • Conduct new employee orientation and assist with on-boarding processes
  • Assists with processing all employee status changes in HRIS; new hires, transfers, terminations, employee data changes, benefits, and payroll processing
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate manner.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Assists in the administration of FMLA leave, disability, and WC claims.
  • Maintains and monitors FMLA time logs.

Job Requirements:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or other related field OR equivalent experience
  • Must have at least 3 years of Human Resources experience in the HR field as an HR Coordinator or a similar combination or experience
  • Knowledge of HR functions

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, courteous, enthusiastic and positive disposition

  • Must demonstrate organizational skills and ability to independently prioritize daily workload
