Office/Admin Assistant

Company  in Dalton is adding to their office staff.  The position will start as a part time position (25-30 hours/week) but will hopefully transition to full time after the first of the year.  The company is looking to interview candidates who have at least 2-3 years experience working in an office setting.  They're also only interested in applicants who are looking for a permanent posittion  and looking to stay with the company long term (not 1-2 years).  If interested, please read job description to ensure you have the experience & skills the company is requiring.

Responsibilities

 

Position will start as part time but will hopefully evolve to full time after the first of the year. Duties will include: Customer Service / Account Representative;  Updating client database; Accounting (entering payment information & invoice information); Answering phones; Order Entry; Matching orders with shipping/BOLs; and general office duties (filing, scanning, organizing records, data entry, etc.).   Will need a working knowledge of Sage Accounting and MS Office (Word, Excel, Adobe & Outlook).  Hours to start will be 24-30 hours/week (3-4 days/week) - company is flexible on hours & days of week.
