Operations Manager

We are working with a dynamic company from Broward County that is growing and looking to find their new Operations Manager. To be the "ideal candidate" for this role, you will be a person who pays attention to the little details, enjoys creating process improvements and is a great team player! You will also have experience in cabinetry, furniture, millwork, woodworking and will manage the work flow from approved drawings until they ship the product.   Some of your future responsibilities:   

  • Scheduling the lead times with the clients
  • Technical skills preferably with NetSuite or similar ERP system experience
  • Experience in building materials, millwork, window factory or similar industry is key
  • Supervisory experience of 20+ production workers
  • Ability to read AutoCAD drawings 
  • Excellent customer relations and communication skills needed to coordinate change orders from customer to sales team
  • Experience in creating and managing processes, ie. closing procedures, set up of production floor
  • Organized to schedule preventative maintenance
  • Inventory management

Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Shop Operations Manager we are seeking will come from the Millwork, Cabinet, Woodworking, Windows/Doors industry. They will oversee direct reports in CNC, Assembly, Millwork, Finish/Prep, Finish and Shipping. They will manage the work flow from approved drawings until they ship the product.

  • Scheduling the lead times with the clients
