Production Manager

We are currently seeking a hands on Production Manager seeking employment in the St. Petersburg area.    This candidate will have 3 direct reports with Shift Supervisors and 70+ additional reports on three shifts.  Candidates are required to have a minimum of 10 years’ experience working in food/baking manufacturing. Candidates must have 3+ years experienced in a leadership/management role. Job Summary: Production Managers will have direct responsibility for all operations pertaining to Production. Controls and directs and accountable for the production and packaging process, employee relations, product quality, and employee safety issues.

---Responsible for and enforces food safety requirements pertaining to BRC, AIB, GMP and any other legal or legislative rules and / or regulations.


--- Manage the production processes to meet order volume, productivity, quality, and labor cost expectations.

--- Communicate with maintenance for proper set-up of equipment

---Schedule the workforce to properly man the operation at the least possible cost

--- Develop and manage quality and waste controls for raw materials and finished and packaged goods. Ø Manage all bakery Supervisors including creating training & career development programs

--- Oversee and conduct employee performance management – 3 Shift Supervisors as direct reports and 70+ additional direct reports between three shifts.
