A non-profit organization in San Jose is looking for a stellar team player to help support its inventory department. The Inventory Control Specialist will be involved in all aspects of inventory functions and documentation. They will ensure timely and accurate entry of all inventory documentation and transactions. Perform inventory cycle counting daily under the direction of the Inventory Control Manager and/or Lead/Coordinator.
Reconcile physical inventory in Ceres and research discrepancies at each cycle count.
Verify product locations and investigate discrepancies
Perform and complete timely and accurate follow-through on inventory-related issues and discrepancies.
Responsible for data entry of all required inventory activities such as but not limited to reclass, cycle count results, donation orders, agency orders, etc.
Coordinate transfers to and from various sites and storage locations.
Monitor inventory levels under the guidance of the Inventory Control Manager to ensure adequate inventory is on hand at the appropriate location.
Coordinate between warehouses and storage to maintain a consistent process at both warehouse sites.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- standing for 6 hours at one time
- working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
- Cycle Counting (1 year of experience is required)
- Inventory Auditing (2 years of experience is required)
