Executive Administrator

We are currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant for a local Knoxville company who is looking for a strong administrative person to complete their team!   A positive upbeat personality is required, due to the fact that this position will require you to deal with vendors, customers, and everything in between.  If you are a highly organized administrative professional with experience supporting management teams please read on. This is a full-time role, reporting to our Vice President.

The ideal candidate will posses:

  • Computer Skills including but limited to Office suite.
  • A killer attention to detail.
  • Driving the train, not riding on it.
  • "Get it done" type mentality.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • excellent collaboration skills


Responsibilities

Acts as a liaison for Sr. Vice President.  Advises internal and external customers on the duties of Information Services and makes referrals to the appropriate personnel.

Manages 2 Receptionists and 1 Mailroom/Shipping Clerk to promote excellent customer
service for our customers, external and internal.

Assumes responsibility for & independently completes projects as assigned.   Administers and maintains knowledge of all leaves of absences (FMLA, short term disability, long term disability, personal leave, military leave, etc.) for individuals within the IT department. Tracks all leaves of absence.

Independently responsible for preparing internal and external correspondence and various
other required material.  

Administers and presents employment policies for the department, including time reporting
and absentee reporting for approximately 30 employees. Maintains absentee calendars and time and attendance system edits in Ceridian for all department employees. Tracks personnel paperwork.
