Are you a friendly and motivated individual who loves working in a fast paced environment? If so, we are looking for a multifaceted individual who can successfully multi-task the day to day responsibilities of a disease intervention specialist. We are looking for someone who is comfortable on the phone, has great computer skills who can inspect client activities to aid in stopping the spread of infectious disease. There will be a fair share of initial troubleshooting involved, so those with experience in Outlook and Microsoft TEAMS are preferred.
Assesses the health and health care needs of families and individuals who would benefit
from health promotion or who are at identified risk of illness.
Follow up with confirmed positive cases to back track to the source within 24 hours.
Performs investigations relating to the occurrence, causes, control, and prevention of
communicable diseases or illnesses to ensure treatment is received and to prevent the
spread of disease or illnesses.
