Patient Access Specialist

We are looking for experienced Medical Customer Service and Support reps for a Temp-To-Hire position with a Fortune 100 company in the Fort Mill Area. This role will initially be a work from home position but will move back into the office in the coming months. Pay for this role is $17.00.  Interested parties must have prior medical, reimbursement, or medical customer service experience to be considered. 

Responsibilities

- Answer inbound calls from Patients and assist them as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and
- Follow HIPAA guidelines in protection of patients personal information 
- Problem solve when necessary to identify issues had by patient
- Assess prior authorizations and coverage for medical plans
