Medical Billing

Interested in working for a dermatology office as a Medical Biller? Look no further! The chosen candidate would be skilled and experienced in medical billing at a private practice and can effectively and consistently generate revenue through professional billing practices and proper and ethical collection efforts. 


You will be utilizing their own software system, Microsoft Word & Excel as well. You will be responsible for for billing out to insurances and patients. 

Obtaining referrals and pre-authorizations as required for procedures. Checking for eligibility and benfits verification for treatments and procedures. Obtain any missing information needed

Prepare, review, and transmitting claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing. Following up on unpaid claims. 

Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary.

Rearching and appealing denied claims.

Answering all patient or insurance telephone inquiries pertaining to assigned accounts.

Updating cash spreadsheets, and running collection reports.
