Human Resources Representative

A tech company in Milpitas, CA is looking for a temporary Human Resources Representative to support their HR team as well as help with an upcomming employee relations project. The duration of this position will be for 6-months. This is a remote, work from home role, however, you must be based out of the Bay Area in California as occasional trips into the office in Milpitas may be necessary. At least 2 years of human resources experience is required including experience with benefits, employee relations, and leave of absences. Knowledge of Paycom or ADP is also required. Supports the HR organization by providing a wide range of support services including benefits, compensation, employee relations, HRIS (Paycom), and staffing.

Assists with COVID-19 administration, including contact tracing, etc.

Acts as backup for new hire orientation and employee onboarding.

Assists with administering the HRIS (Paycom) system to ensure compliance and accuracy; prepares various reports as requested.

Uses advanced Excel skills to analyze data, prepare reports, charts, and graphs.

Provides support for the annual benefits open enrollment process, including scheduling employee meetings and preparing materials.

Provides support and guidance to employees regarding inquiries to policies and procedures.

Assists with administering the company-wide Employer Training Program (ETP).

Provides support for HR-related projects of various size, scope, and complexity; leads smaller projects independently.

Responds to requests for information or reports from departments or employees
