Office Clerk

The Inventory Coordinator will assist in ensuring our local office has the correct Inventory levels, by coordinating/communicating with the buyers and other members of the materials team. The inventory Coordinator needs to understand inventory requirements in order to know what and how to pull and push product from one facility to another. They will ensure the transactions are complete and accurate. QUALIFICATIONS
  • strong attention to detail and analytical skills required.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English required.
  • Knowledge of Inventory concepts and functions
  • ERP experience required (SAP, ORACLE, EPICOR)
  • strong organizational skills; ability to work with deadlines and multiple tasks
  • Computer literacy and hands on working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel and outlook


Responsibilities

  • Determining the required material needs and request/coordinate material movement between facilities
  • Limiting amount of shipments by coordinating and consolidating as needed
  • Creating system transfers using our ERP system (Epicor)
  • Review and coordinate daily inventory transactions
  • Review and correct production job discrepancies
  • Close complete production jobs and ensure material has been issued correctly
  • Review supply and demand and communicating concerns as needed
  • Review future orders and communicating any/all material needs
  • Address any material shortages to Supply Chain and Production Supervisor
  • Suggest process improvements and implement processes
  • Work with cross functional teams daily
  • Back up Stock Room functions such as issuing material, printing production jobs and other material transactions as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


Skills
  • ERP (4 years of experience is required)
  • Inventory Auditing (4 years of experience is required)
  • coordinating shipments (4 years of experience is required)

  • Bachelors
