Administrative Assistant

We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join an office located in Commack, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain office experience with a well-known company. The ideal candidate will be available to start ASAP, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and have excellent communication and organizational skills.  This is a temporary position for the next 3-4 months. The hours are full time Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30pm. -Assist Finance and HR department with scanning project consisting of scanning documents into the computer system 

-Perform basic data entry into computer 

-Work with emails and Excel spreadsheets

-Make outbound calls to staff and potential candidates for reference checks

-File department documents

-Occasionally answer incoming calls and direct/screen calls as need

-Other administrative tasks as assigned 


-Proficient in navigating a computer and able to organize computer folders and subfolders 

-Prior experience scanning documents

-Candidate must be detail orientated 

-Excellent communication skills and organizational skills

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
