Sr Staff NPI Engineer, Equipment Controls

As an essential business, we are currently at full production and expanding our business. We are looking for an experienced Senior Staff NPI Engineer to join our team to support development/design for new exicing projects. You can be one of the few people in the world working on components of NASA created technology being used in solid oxide fuel cell power generators. Our employees health and safety come first! Responsibilities

  • Design and develop R&D equipment, tools/test fixtures to support feasibility and investigation efforts.  Tools/test fixtures are primarily developed internally but we occasionally work with external design teams.
  • Support existing equipment install base in production equipment.  This includes troubleshooting issues, debugging, and new feature requests for both hardware and software.
  • Work with Operations equipment and process engineering teams to develop equipment/tools and processes ramped up for production volumes
Experience: 

  • BS or MS in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Automation and Test Equipment Design
  • PLC ladder logic programming experience on Allen Bradley or Omron platform is a requirement
  • Design Documentation:  Electrical Wiring, P&ID, Plumbing Diagrams
  • Experience with application of various metrology technologies
  • BS or MS in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Hardware experience
