Associate Account Manager

A reputable private commercial insurance broker is seeking to add to their Select Accounts team! This support role, supporting several Account Managers and also working independently, will require someone licensed that is a quick learner, sharp, able to juggle a lot and driven to succeed. Additionally, the individual needs to be l experience in the insurance industry or an insurance environment is highly preferred . This is the perfect role for someone that tried the sales side of Property & Casualty insurance, and enjoys the industry, but would be a better fit for supporting an account management team in a non-sales role, as this role is administrative and requires no sales. Location:Remote for now, but only local candidates (Maryland) will be considered  Permanent Benefits (very competitive!)


Working to support the Account Managers and Team Leads, this individual will handle these day-to-day duties:

- Prepare certificates of insurance
- Billing questions; cancellations; reinstatements
- Data entry / invoicing
- Prepare finance agreements
- Client Communication regarding policy changes; general insurance document processing and client inquiries 
- Scanning
- Processing daily download of electronic documents
- Act as a Back-up person for answering the phones and processing the incoming/outgoing mail

Looking someone that is sharp, a quick learner and a multi-tasker.  The Associate works with and provides support to several Account Managers and works independently as well.  The ideal person will have an insurance background and a Property and Casualty license– with at least 1 year of personal or commercial line insurance environment experience.
