Our client in Van Nuys is looking for a purchasing clerk. Daily tasks and responsibilities will be to contact vendors and reps in order to confirm ship dates, B/Os, lead times, pricing etc., and communicate back to me and the buyer. As well as basic office duties (For Purchasing) including making copies, e-mails, etc.
Responsibilities
- ABILITY TO MULTI TASK IN A FAST PACED CORPORATE ENVIRONMENT
- EXCEL PROFICIENT – ESPECIALLY IN SPREAD SHEETS PURCHASING
- EXPERIENCE A LARGE PLUS EXPERIENCE IN COMMUNICATING WITH VENDORS AND REPS
- COMMUNICATOR
- DETAIL ORIENTED
